I think it would be to have default view settings on the spend overview dashboard when first selecting that menu item:

!. Default to include budget versus actual

Seems a better starting point providing the most relevant information at a glance. I always make these initial changes every time I open that dashboard. Would be nice to have them as the default starting point in my opinion. (See screenshot)
