The inability to do this for me is a bit of a deal breaker having just subscribed. With GoodBudget I was able to do this easily e.g. a single transaction at the supermarket might cover groceries, pharmacy and pet, and my budget needs to be able to reflect that. This seems like a really basic function that is missing.

Yes, this would help, for example grocery shopping, and if i buy alcohol part grocery shopping, it would be good to manually split that cost to get an true reflection on my expenses

I would love this also! Another example is withdrawing cash at the supermarket checkout - cash could be categorized to something different to the grocery spend

Hello! This would be great for me too. Mainly for income, as sometimes I get paid three months later, and I would like to be able to resign some of that income transaction to prior months.

I do the grocery shopping for elderly parents, sometimes it is included in the grocery shopping for my family - like to be able to seperate out their portion which they will later reimburse
